Circle's native USDC is coming to Sui
Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire introduced the current status and future potential of stablecoins in his speech, and hinted at some exciting news. Towards the end of the speech, Allaire finally revealed the big news: USDC, one of the most trusted and transparent digital dollars, will soon be available on Sui.
USDC is already running on the Sui testnet and will be available on the mainnet soon, which will increase liquidity and reduce the fragmentation of stablecoins throughout the ecosystem. Soon, the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) will also be integrated with Sui, enhancing interoperability with other networks such as Solana and Ethereum. Allaire’s support for Sui’s technology and community demonstrates the strength of this collaboration and lays the foundation for Sui’s next phase of growth.
