According to BlockBeats, on September 20, Phantom announced the launch of an embedded wallet at today’s Solana Breakpoint conference to help developers simplify the new user registration process.

It is reported that the embedded wallet does not require a mnemonic phrase, and users only need an email address and a four-digit PIN code to create a secure self-hosted account. The wallet is fully functional, including Swap, checking balances, monitoring transactions, etc.

BlockBeats previously reported that Phantom announced the acquisition of Bitski, an NFT platform backed by a16z, in late May this year. As part of the transaction, Phantom will bring an “embedded wallet” feature to Solana to simplify the process. This is Phantom’s first acquisition.
