Commerzbank, Germany's second largest bank, has taken action for Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Commerzbank has announced that it is preparing to offer Bitcoin and Ethereum trading to its corporate clients. The bank stated that it will provide this service through Crypto Finance, which offers crypto trading and custody solutions.
The service will initially be offered to existing corporate clients of Commerzbank in Germany and will focus solely on Bitcoin and Ethereum trading.
Commerzbank will launch a cryptocurrency trading service thanks to an agreement with Crypto Finance, a subsidiary of Deutsche Boerse Group. The bank received a crypto custody license in Germany in November 2023 and thanks to this license, it has begun to offer its customers a wide range of services related to digital assets.
Gernot Kleckner, Head of Capital Markets at Commerzbank, stated that with this collaboration, corporate clients will have the opportunity to trade cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. He also emphasized that these solutions have the highest standards in terms of security.
