Coinbase Veterans Launch TrueX, a Secure Stablecoin-Focused Exchange

Two former Coinbase executives, Vishal Gupta and Patrick McCreary, have introduced TrueX, a non-custodial exchange designed to enhance security in stablecoin trading. TrueX separates order execution from asset custody, ensuring user assets remain protected during trades by partnering with regulated third-party custodians. The platform is stablecoin-native and uses PayPal’s PYUSD as its default settlement currency. This innovative model directly addresses concerns about security and transparency in the crypto market.

TrueX has already raised $9M in seed funding from key investors, including RRE Ventures, Paxos, and the Solana Foundation. With a focus on quick, secure settlements and stablecoin integration, TrueX aims to establish itself as a leading player in the evolving stablecoin ecosystem
