Solana Mobile, the team behind the blockchain smartphone, has received $70 million in pre-orders for its second mobile device, the project said Thursday.
So what's driving demand? New markets.
“More than half of our orders are coming from Asia Pacific countries, and we were previously unable to sell phones in the region,” Emmett Hollyer, general manager of Solana Mobile, told DL News ahead of the Token2049 conference in Singapore this week.
