Ledger suffered an attack. The script files published by its front-end code base on npm were replaced by hackers. This was not an attack on Ledger itself, but an attack on its front-end UI library. However, the problem exposed was caused by npm's centralized server. Problem, easy to be hacked and tampered with. For a network like #ICP , it is unavoidable if it is an ordinary dapp website, because developers may also compile the library. However, if a service like npm is deployed on ICP, this problem will be avoided as much as possible.
