On September 18, Google Cloud's blockchain remote procedure call (RPC) service is currently only compatible with Ethereum, but will soon support more blockchains. Google Cloud has launched a blockchain remote procedure call (RPC) service that enables cryptocurrency developers to interact with blockchain data more easily and enhance the reliability of decentralized applications (DApps). In a blog post on September 17, Google Cloud said that the new service will initially be compatible with the Ethereum mainnet and testnet, and plans to expand to other blockchains next year. The blockchain RPC service initially launched with a free tier, providing up to 100 call requests per second, up to 1 million requests per day, and supports EIP-1474 (a set of RPC methods defined for Ethereum nodes).
