PANews reported on September 18 that according to The Block, Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark announced the acquisition of two Bitcoin mines near Clinton, Mississippi for $5.775 million. The two facilities will support a total of 16.5 megawatts of power supply and are expected to be delivered on December 1. The acquisition will increase CleanSpark's data center capacity in Mississippi to 60.5 megawatts. Less than a week before the news was released, CleanSpark also announced the acquisition of seven mines in Tennessee for $27.5 million. The company plans to reach a computing power target of 37 EH/s by the end of 2024 and increase to 50 EH/s in 2025.
