According to BlockBeats, on September 17, Farcaster founder Dan Romero gave an opening speech at FarCon Asia, the first large-scale offline Farcaster ecosystem event in Asia:

A big thank you to Tako Protocol for hosting FarCon Asia. When the Tako team came to Los Angeles two weeks ago and told me about FarCon Asia, I was blown away by what they had to show. They gave a full demo of the product, which was really cool.

The main users of the Farcaster ecosystem are US-centric, as I am in the US myself, but that is changing. Builders outside the US will have a better and more intuitive perspective on what the local market or the entire region wants. Whether it is the market in China, or the market in Japan or Korea, there will be different features and functions, which is great. There are other countries, there are other countries in the world, and people don't speak English. So Farcaster will eventually become a more global application.
