The betting odds on Donald Trump launching a token before the presidential election have risen above 84% on Polymarket after the launch date of the World Liberty Financial crypto project was announced.
It was announced that this project, run by the Trump family, will launch on September 16.

The odds of a âYesâ answer to the question âWill Trump launch a coin before the election?â on Polymarket were 40% on Thursday, while this rate was 16% a month ago. The odds have skyrocketed after Trumpâs announcement.
Polymarket users have bet more than $1.7 million on this market so far.
The bet will result in a âYesâ if Trump verifiably launches a new token by November 4, 2024. However, it is not enough to have a plan or a confirmation statement for this bet to happen. The token must actually be launched on the blockchain.
World Liberty Financialâs whitepaper states that it plans to launch a non-transferable governance token called WLFI, but Trumpâs exact role in the project and direct involvement in the token launch are not yet known.
Meanwhile, Polymarket users are betting that Kamala Harris will win the US presidential election. Harrisâ odds rose after the two debated.
