**MicroStrategy Buys 18,300 Bitcoin, Boosting Holdings to 244,800 BTC**

MicroStrategy, led by CEO Michael Saylor, has acquired 18,300 Bitcoin between Aug. 6 and Sept. 12, spending $1.11 billion at an average price of $60,408 per BTC. This purchase brings the company's total Bitcoin holdings to approximately 244,800 BTC, valued around $14.14 billion.

The funds for this acquisition came from selling 8 million company shares, raising $1.11 billion. Since its first Bitcoin purchase in August 2020, MicroStrategy has invested $9.45 billion, averaging $38,585 per BTC. Despite mixed reactions from analysts, the firm continues its aggressive Bitcoin strategy.
