According to ChainCatcher, Donald Trump announced that his cryptocurrency project World Liberty Financial will be officially launched on September 16. He said on the official X account that the project aims to "embrace the future of cryptocurrency" and "abandon outdated large banks."

Earlier, CoinDesk reported a white paper in a seminar, which stated that the project will be built on the decentralized financial platform Aave and the Ethereum blockchain and centered on a "credit account system."
