A fraud case involving virtual currency and counterfeit currency occurred in Wenzhou.

A Wenzhou man, Mr. Lai, was cheated of 5 million yuan worth of virtual currency by a fraud gang when he was selling virtual currency.

Mr. Lai had had many transactions with the fraud suspect Wang.

Based on the previous trust relationship,

this transaction was conducted in a parking lot in the city.

When counting the cash on the spot, Mr. Lai and others did not find anything unusual and

transferred the virtual currency to the other party.

Afterwards, Mr. Lai's friends found that most of the cash they received was counterfeit currency,

with the words "Magic Bank of China" printed on it.

Mr. Lai immediately called the police.

After receiving the report, the police quickly intervened.

After investigation, it was found that the fraud gang had fled to Wenling by car.

The police tracked overnight and arrested them in the early morning of the next day.

They successfully arrested three suspects and found more than 4 million yuan in cash in the suspect's vehicle.

After investigation,

the police learned that the cash was the purchase payment of another virtual currency buyer, Mr. Hu.

It turned out that Wang and others were virtual currency trading intermediaries.

Usually, they could only earn 2,000 yuan in commission for each transaction of 1 million yuan worth of virtual currency.

Faced with the temptation of large-scale cash transactions, they decided to take a risk.

To this end,

Wang and others purchased nearly 6 million yuan of counterfeit currency at a price of 80,000 yuan,

and used Mr. Lai's trust to complete the transaction.

Afterwards, they quickly resold the defrauded virtual currency to Hu,

making a profit of more than 4 million yuan! !
