According to information shared by ENS Labs, US payment giants PayPal and Venmo have implemented the Ethereum Name Service, ENS, integration, which allows users to send Crypto payments using ENS usernames. The integration makes it easier for the companies to transfer Crypto as users no longer have to manually enter long wallet addresses.
The update allows PayPal and Venmo users to directly type the recipientâs ENS name in the search field while making a Crypto payment. The platform auto-fills and attaches the ENS name to the correct wallet address. According to ENS Labs, they had to manually type or paste the wallet address before, even though QR code scanning was used, which in most cases resulted in errors or delays in processing such transactions.
