Odaily Planet Daily News: Monero community members have refuted Chainalysis' claim that Monero transactions can be tracked. According to Monero community leader Csilla Brimer, Chainalysis sets up its own Monero nodes to track the IP addresses connected to these nodes and calls these nodes "fake proxy nodes." Brimer emphasized that protecting IP addresses is the key to preventing tracking, and users can ensure privacy by avoiding connecting to these nodes or using Tor. A previous Chainalysis presentation leaked to the IRS showed that the blockchain analysis company claimed to be able to track Monero transactions since 2021. However, Chainalysis has not commented publicly on the video. (Decrypt)
