U.S. stocks continued to rise after opening, and the three major stock indexes all closed with a gain of more than 1%. Specifically:
- The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 1.2%,
- The S&P 500 rose 1.16%,
- The Nasdaq Composite Index also rose 1.16%.
Most large technology stocks showed an upward trend:
- NVIDIA rose more than 3%,
- Amazon and Tesla both rose more than 2%,
- Netflix and Microsoft rose more than 1%,
- Apple, Intel and Meta all rose slightly;
- However, Google fell more than 1%.
It is worth mentioning that the stock price of Palantir Technologies Co., Ltd. rose sharply by more than 14%, setting the largest single-day increase since February this year.
