🇯🇵 Japanese energy giant TEPCO is testing Bitcoin mining using excess solar power.

Its subsidiary Agile Energy X is testing#Bitcoinmining with the aim of boosting green energy use and potentially generating $2.5 billion in revenue annually, by dedicating just 10% of that excess energy to Bitcoin mining.
