📈 Tron took second place by TVL in the DeFi ecosystem
Currently, $6.6 billion — 10.74% of total TVL — is locked in DeFi protocols on Tron.
By July 2023, Binance Smart Chain (BSC or BNB Chain) was in second place. After the SEC lawsuit against Binance, the amount of funds blocked there began to fall, and BSC gave way to Tron.
Interestingly, all the top projects are related to Tron founder Justin Sun: JustLend cryptoloans, stUSDT stablecoin staking, USDJ stablecoin and SUN decentralized exchange.
