OORT updates token model and will lock up 800 million tokens

According to TechFlow, on September 8, OORT updated its token economic model. The total amount of OORT is 2 billion tokens. Key changes include:

1. 400 million $OORT tokens will be allocated as OORT Edge network node rewards in the next five years, and another 800 million $OORT will be locked for five years starting from September 15, 2024. The lock-up address will be announced soon;

2. The release period of the 200 million $OORT tokens allocated by the founding team is extended from four years to six years.

This update is intended to make the OORT ecosystem more decentralized and transparent, and better align with the long-term health of the OORT ecosystem.
