Description of the #VARA VARA Incident – #Binance’s Unnatural Reaction. Immediately after I mentioned in Binance’s chat that I was preparing to submit my case to Dubai’s regulator (VARA), their tone and behavior changed dramatically and unnaturally. Actions that clearly indicated panic: Rapid rotation of support agents: Within seconds, I was handed over to multiple agents, as if they urgently needed to contain the situation. This never happened before in my previous chats. Appearance of the “Escalation Team”: For the first time in two weeks, I was contacted by a special “Complaints Escalation Team.” This department had never appeared before, despite me discussing the same issue many times. Sudden shift in tone: The agents became overly polite, changed their approach completely, and started “rechecking” my case at a higher level. Unusual focus on my location: One of the agents directly asked, “Do you live in Dubai?” – which strongly suggests that Binance’s responsibility toward a user may depend on the user's residency. and finally then: Once they confirmed I am not a Dubai citizen or resident, their behavior instantly returned to normal — silence, delays, and generic “please wait for the relevant team” responses. This drastic contrast before and after mentioning VARA proves Binance’s fear was tied to regulatory pressure, not justice. #binance $BNB $FIL
