VanEck Closes Ether Futures ETF
💎 VanEck has announced the liquidation of the Ether Futures ETF (EFUT), which will end trading on September 16 and liquidate completely on September 23.
💡 Important Information:
▶️ EFUT will cease trading on September 16 and liquidate on September 23.
▶️ Investors can sell their shares before trading stops or receive cash after liquidation.
▶️ The fund held $21 million as of September 5, compared to $55.5 million for the spot ETF (ETHV).
🟣 VanEck's decision comes after the approval of the Ethereum spot ETF, which offers better asset tracking, led to a shift of investors away from futures. VanEck also liquidated the Bitcoin Strategy ETF under similar circumstances.
