🔥Magic Eden launches an exclusive domain for the US NFT community 🤔
The #NFT market of different Magic Eden chains, recently announced that it will launch an exclusive domain for users in the United States.
According to a post on X on the official Magic Eden page, the exclusive domain for the United States will continue to offer the services we know, while the international page (the one we all know) will incorporate improved and innovative functions.
Why is this separation happening?
From my point of view, I think there are two main reasons, the first is regarding the airdrop that has been announced, which would not be long before they launch the #token $ME. Since I have seen airdrop announcements, most of the time several countries are excluded, including the United States. So I would not be surprised if they did it once again.
The other reason has to do with the recent Wells notification that the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (#SEC ) sent to #OpenSea , another well-known NFT marketplace. Magic Eden might be taking preventative measures, knowing that it could be the SEC's next target.
Anyway, these are just ideas that occurred to me after seeing the platform's announcement. Not much is known yet about the token launch date or the official reason why Magic Eden has carried out this domain separation. Maybe we'll find out soon.
