Odaily Planet Daily News: U.S. federal prosecutors have refuted the allegations against FTX executive Ryan Salame, saying they did not violate the terms of the plea agreement reached with the former FTX executive - that they would stop the criminal investigation of Salame's long-term partner and mother of his children, Michelle Bond. Prosecutors said they had never made any such promises to Ryan Salame, either formally or informally, and that their prosecution of Michelle Bond was fair. In a scathing 32-page memorandum filed on Thursday, prosecutors urged U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York Judge Lewis Kaplan to dismiss Salame's recent request to enforce the conditions of his plea agreement or dismiss his guilty plea and revoke his sentence, calling it a "shameless and selfish attempt to violate his plea and conviction... and undermine the legitimate prosecution of Michelle Bond." It is reported that the relevant hearing is scheduled for September 12, 2024. (Coindesk)
