According to ChainCatcher, André Dragosch, head of European research at Bitwise, posted on social media that corporate purchases alone have almost absorbed all newly mined Bitcoin supply. Currently, the annual supply of newly mined Bitcoin is about 164,000 BTC. More importantly, this does not include the purchasing demand of other key buyers, such as ETFs, governments, trading platforms, and DeFi. The supply shortage of BTC is more serious than most people realize.
