The authorities suggested that I could be held personally liable for the misuse of Telegram by certain individuals, as they claimed to have received no response from our team. I found this surprising for several reasons:

- We have an official EU representative who accepts and responds to requests from European authorities.

- The French authorities had multiple channels to contact me directly.

- The standard approach is to address grievances through legal action against the service, not its CEO.

As a pioneer in the tech industry, I believe that innovators should not be held responsible for potential misuse of their creations.
