Odaily Planet Daily News: The re-staking protocol EigenLayer stated in a blog post that as part of the "Second Season Staking Airdrop", 86 million EIGEN tokens will be distributed to users who have interacted with the platform. Stakers and node operators will receive 70 million tokens, while ecosystem partners and the EigenLayer community will receive 10 million and 6 million tokens respectively. The distribution will begin on September 17, and these tokens account for approximately 5% of the total supply of EIGEN.
