Standard Chartered says the price of ETH, the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain, could rise to $8,000 by the end of 2026, up from around $1,600 currently. Geoffrey Kendrick, head of foreign exchange and cryptocurrency research at Standard Chartered Bank, said in a report on Wednesday, "We believe that Ethereum's established dominance in smart contract platforms, coupled with emerging uses in gaming and tokenization, has the potential to expand in 2026. Pushing ETH to $8,000 levels by the end of the year (5x the current price of $1,600), Kendrick said he expects ETH prices to reach $8,000, which is seen as heading towards the bank’s previous target of $26,000 to $35,000. The first step in the scope of "long-term structural valuation". While long-term valuations assume that future use cases and revenue streams for Ethereum may not yet exist, real-world use cases for gaming and tokenization should support their development. #公链生态 #新币挖矿ntrn #美联储是否加息? #BTC $BTC$ETH
