According to the latest data from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the economic losses caused by Bitcoin ATM fraud have increased nearly tenfold since 2020! In the first half of 2024 alone, there were more than $65 million in fraud losses. What is particularly worrying is that the risk of loss for the elderly over 60 is more than three times that of younger adults. The average loss per victim is as high as $10,000.
