Yet everyone is affected by it
2/➫ When we're on

searching for a new gem and navigating to the $SOL chain
❍ We immediately see the "trending" tokens, and 98% of us will choose a token without even getting to the 20th option
❍ But do you know how they get there?
3/➫ The 2 key characteristics to make it into trending tokens are volume and the number of holders
❍ And it turns out that these metrics are very easy to manipulate, which is exactly how insiders deceive you
So let's find out how to spot them:
4/➫ There are several methods they can use to do this:
• Using solo buys• Using insider friends
• Using automated software that buys the token from thousands of different wallets
And mostly insiders use the 3rd option
5/➫ So, by paying 60 SOL, 4,332 wallets with 14 txs/minute will buy the token u want
❍ This increases both the volume and the number of holders, pushing it to the top
❍ Then, the token's popularity and price rise, and the insiders cash out at your expense
So how to spot it?
6/➫ Tg Community
❍ The problem is that such a large number of holders and volume should be matched by an equally active community
❍ When you enter the TG group and see 1 message/5 min, it becomes clear that it's a fake
And in 99% of cases, such tokens end up being rug-pulled
7/➫ Additional way to spot it
❍ Another way to spot this is by checking transactions on Dexscreener
❍ This bot-buying activity does show up in the transactions, and they're all happening at 0.01 SOL
So it's quite noticeable.
