Odaily Planet Daily News: The centralized cryptocurrency lending platform Nexo announced that it has resumed accepting registrations from British customers. The company has worked with Gateway 21, a financial promotion approval agency authorized by the FCA, to carry out a series of upgrades to the platform to meet the compliance requirements of the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). New measures include a cooling-off period, dedicated risk warnings, and investor classification questionnaires. Nexo Chief Product Officer Elitsa Taskova said the company is committed to providing better services and educational resources to British customers. Previously, Nexo suspended UK customer registrations at the end of 2023 in response to the FCA's new crypto asset financial promotion regulations. The regulations, which will take effect on October 8, 2023, aim to improve the transparency and accuracy of crypto product marketing. (The Block)
