ChainCatcher reported that according to Fortune, users of Elon Musk's platform X (formerly Twitter) in Brazil who bypass the ban to access the site may face a daily fine of 50,000 Brazilian reals (about 8,910 US dollars), which is far more than the monthly or annual income of an average Brazilian worker. Currently, any user found to access X through a virtual private network (VPN) may be subject to this penalty.
