According to ChainCatcher, Dario Amodei, CEO of artificial intelligence company Anthropic, said that the future of artificial intelligence may involve more corporate structure optimization rather than robot uprisings.

Amodei recently discussed the future of AI in an interview on the Econ 102 podcast, touching on everything from military uses of AI to human workers being replaced by more efficient machines. Amodei spoke about efforts within the company to develop efficient hierarchical structures through networks of AI models to accomplish tasks. The company's current thinking appears to involve the idea of swarms of AI that can be networked to accomplish specific tasks. The basic premise would involve "big models orchestrating small models."

Amodei added that larger models will create up to hundreds of smaller, faster, more efficient models to perform tasks. Amodei used the analogy of worker bees supporting the queen ant, but what he described sounds a lot like a typical enterprise infrastructure. He noted that the benefit of this design could mean that end users at every level can access the specific functionality they need through a simple user interface.
