Hamster Kombat ($HMSTR) Token Launch and Airdrop
Hamster Kombat is a Telegram-based game with over 53 million subscribers on its official Telegram channel. Players earn in-game coins by tapping their screens and completing various missions. These coins can be used to upgrade virtual hamsters and their cryptocurrency exchanges, increasing hourly profits. The game keeps players engaged through daily tasks, special events, and a referral program.
Built on the TON blockchain, Hamster Kombat requires players to have a Toncoin wallet to fully participate. The upcoming $HMSTR token distribution through an airdrop will allow users to trade on exchanges after the listing. The project aims to distribute 60% of the total $HMSTR token supply to its player base.
Originally scheduled for July 2024, the Hamster Kombat airdrop faced significant delays. The team cited technical difficulties and the large scale of the token launch as reasons for the postponement. Internal conflicts within the development team also contributed to the delay. After months of delay, the team announced Hamster Kombat token listing date on 28 august on its official X account.
The delay had a substantial impact on the game’s player base. Hamster Kombat coin once boasted 155 million active users. However, following the airdrop postponement, this number dropped to 87 million – a 44% decrease in just one week. The decline was primarily attributed to player frustration over the delayed airdrop.
