In fact, I thought about leaving the market, but I kept telling myself: "Hold on a little longer, the price will definitely come back." What happened? As we all know, it didn't. At this time, I felt a mixture of emotions, which was really unpleasant.
This kind of mood, especially when you have been holding on for several days, still holding a glimmer of hope in your heart, but watching the losses getting bigger and bigger. At that moment, I really want to slap myself, why didn’t I stop the loss earlier?
Later, this also taught me that stop loss is really important. Stop loss is essential for every transaction afterwards.
Those days of loss
Losing money is really exhausting. Once, I made enough preparations and entered the market with full confidence, but the market suddenly reversed and I was heartbroken. Watching the numbers in my account decrease day by day, I felt powerless.
At that time, I began to question my ability and even wondered if I was not suitable for trading at all. But in fact, I knew that this doubt was only temporary. After this period of time, I had to continue to face the market.
Find each other
Trading is really lonely. Now I have almost no activities except watching the market every day. I only found out later that sometimes it is helpful to find a group of like-minded people to chat and share experiences at such moments.
A while ago, I set up a small group with the official, where everyone can chat about trading. It's not to teach you some great principles, but to have a place where everyone can talk about those "embarrassing things" in trading and encourage each other. After all, it's not easy for anyone.
