Golden Finance reported that the House Financial Services Committee is expected to discuss DeFi, US law enforcement, and "pig killing" in a series of hearings next month. The congressional committee responsible for regulating US securities and most financial products will schedule a series of cryptocurrency-related hearings in September, the person familiar with the matter said. The first hearing on September 10 will be the long-awaited DeFi subcommittee review; on the morning of September 18, the SEC's enforcement practices will be discussed; another will be held later in the evening to discuss the impact of the so-called "pig killing" behavior. The full committee hearing on September 23 may have the greatest impact on cryptocurrencies, with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to testify. The House committee is said to seek testimony from Chairman Gary Gensler and the other five members of the committee at the same hearing.
