ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Google announced that it will allow some users to use its AI model to generate images of people after the controversy caused by its image generation tool earlier this year.
In February of this year, Google was criticized for its image generation tool showing historically inaccurate scenes and subsequently suspended the feature.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai said at the time that this situation was "completely unacceptable." Now, Google will gradually re-introduce this feature to English users using its Gemini Advanced product, and enterprise users will also be given access in the next few days.
Google emphasized that it has made technical improvements to the AI model and strictly evaluated and restricted the generated images to avoid inappropriate situations again.
