These projections are based on XRP’s role in cross-border payments and strategic partnerships with major financial institutions, although potential regulatory hurdles, particularly those involving the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), could impact its long-term trajectory. At the time of writing, XRP is trading at $0.57.

The panel’s predictions for XRP vary, reflecting differing views on the market. Mitesh Shah, founder and CEO of Omnia Markets, is optimistic that XRP could reach $0.75 by the end of 2024. Shah is banking on three key factors: continued short-term momentum fueled by positive sentiment around Ripple’s regulatory developments and stablecoin initiatives; the potential for regulatory clarity following the settlement of the SEC lawsuit, which could strengthen XRP’s independent status; and the current market cycle, where a crypto bull run could support XRP prices regardless of Bitcoin’s volatility.

Additionally, Shubham Munde from Market Research Future predicts significant growth in the long term, suggesting that XRP could climb to $6.45 by 2030 thanks to widespread adoption by financial institutions, while John Hawkins from the University of Canberra is cautious, predicting a possible price drop to $0.30.
