Odaily Planet Daily News đ As more and more Bitcoin (BTC) assets emerge, the demand for WBTC (Wrapped Bitcoin) as a base asset is also increasing. The Compound community recently launched a new proposal to add a WBTC market on the mainnet.
đ The proposal allows the following assets to be used as collateral for WBTC: uniBTC (Bedrock), FBTC (FireBTC), swBTC (Swell), LBTC (Lomboard), and pumpBTC. Some of these assets may be vault tokens, and the community may list them when they are instantly redeemable.
đ The passage of this proposal will help further improve the liquidity of WBTC, while also providing investors with more options. The future of Bitcoin is still worth looking forward to!
