According to ChainCatcher, Matt Wright, CEO and co-founder of GaiaNet, talked about the two camps in the debate over decentralized artificial intelligence. The first camp prefers a controlled software environment, and the second believes in open and liberal ideals.
Matt Wright agrees with the second camp. He said: "I don't believe in controlling these systems. I think we should guide them correctly, and all we can really do is provide safety guardrails and appropriate dialogue. These systems should not be managed by individuals or governments, and these technologies should not be regulated by people who don't use them. On the other hand, Web3 and Ethereum implement proper on-chain governance. Tokenized entities manage the system in a more democratic way according to their level of participation."
ETF Matt Wright said: "We are at a critical moment now, with incredible institutional recognition of the asset class for cryptocurrency ETFs, which makes it easy for their clients to enter the field. Obviously, this will bring a lot of liquidity to the field. The Ethereum community should welcome this attention and enable it to focus more on developers and building."
Matt Wright is reportedly the CEO and co-founder of GaiaNet, an AI infrastructure project that aims to decentralize current AI agent software.
