According to Foresight News, KOR Protocol, a startup backed by Animoca Brands, has launched a new decentralized music platform, KOR Player, which allows users to mix music using a set of tools including a "sound library" and authentication services.

KOR said that DJs such as Joel Zimmerman (deadmau5), Plastkman, Inder Phull, Ben Turner and Dean Wilson have joined the platform as early supporters. KOR has 550,000 registered users and counts Japanese telecom giant KDDI as an early supporter.
