PANews reported on August 27 that Solana Optimistic Network (SOON) raised an undisclosed amount of funds in a "co-builder" financing round. No venture capital firms were involved in this financing, and participants included Solana Foundation Chairman Lily Liu, Solana Labs co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko, Coinbase Ventures head Jonathan King, etc. The funds raised will be used to build SOON Stack and SOON Mainnet, aiming to provide efficient and scalable decentralized application solutions, and improve the performance of Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) to make it the standard for all Layer 1 blockchains.
