PANews reported on August 26 that according to Decenter, South Korean crypto exchange Aprobit will cease operations. As the deadline for updating the declaration of virtual asset service providers (VASP) approaches, many cryptocurrency trading platforms have closed one after another.

According to industry sources, Aprobit stopped new member registration and deposit support on the 23rd and issued an announcement to stop operations. Virtual asset trading will be supported until 11 a.m. on the 23rd of next month, and withdrawals can be made until 6 p.m. on December 23rd. Aprobit said: "Due to changes in the business environment, we have decided to stop trading support. Even after the trading support ends, we will do our best to ensure that all users can smoothly withdraw assets deposited on the trading platform."
