According to a BBC report, the Russian Embassy in France has announced efforts to gain access to Telegram founder Pavel Durov following his reported detention. In a Facebook post, the embassy stated they had promptly requested French authorities to clarify the reasons for Durov’s detention and to ensure his rights are protected, including facilitating consular access. However, they noted that French officials have yet to cooperate. The embassy also confirmed ongoing communication with Durov’s lawyer.
