🚨 Crypto wallet hardware manufacturer Ledger announced a 12% layoff! 😱 "Macroeconomic headwinds are limiting our revenue. In response to current market conditions and business realities, we must reduce roles in the global business," said CEO Pascal Gauthier.

🔹 The Paris-based company has 734 employees, so a 12% cut means the elimination of approximately 88 jobs.

🔹 The layoffs come just months after Ledger announced it had raised the majority of a $109 million financing round at a $1.4 billion valuation.

Job losses in the crypto industry have become the norm in this bear market. Earlier this week, blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis announced a 15% layoff.
