Skybridge Capital founder: Bitcoin is not a reliable store of value yet

Anthony Scaramucci, founder and managing partner of global investment firm Skybridge Capital, said in an interview with CNBC that Bitcoin is not a reliable store of value today, but an early technology that is in the process of adoption.

He pointed out that many gold investors and enthusiasts have been comparing BTC to gold, and while BTC has been stagnant for two years, gold has risen by more than 30%. Therefore, gold's superior performance makes it a larger and more reliable store of value.

Scaramucci revealed that Bitcoin can only be considered a reliable store of value when its adoption expands to the point where there are more than 1 billion active crypto wallets. Although he agrees that cryptocurrency can be a store of value in the future, it does not currently have this status.
