Golden Finance reported that the full-stack DeFi project Radix announced plans to create a donation fund of 1.5 billion XRD (worth $37 million) and will select an institution with more than $1 billion in cryptocurrencies on its balance sheet to manage the fund. The selected partner will use the regulated cryptocurrency custodian Copper Custody to hold XRD assets and use Twinstake to provide pledge infrastructure. Tokens can be deployed and pledged as part of the overall strategy. The goal of the donation fund is to create a sustainable source of token revenue for the continued development of the Radix ecosystem and reduce reliance on the use of treasury tokens. The donation will also help drive external investment or entry into the Radix ecosystem.
