Golden Finance reported that payment giant PayPal and cryptocurrency custodian Anchorage Digital are working together to launch a stablecoin rewards program. The program will pay the income of PayPal USD (PYUSD) tokens held by crypto-native banks or Anchorage's institutional self-custodial wallet Porto. It is reported that the rewards program allows users to make money through PYUSD balances without staking, lending or re-mortgaging funds. Stablecoins will be completely isolated in their on-chain accounts, which means that Anchorage and PayPal will not lend customers' assets to earn returns to pay for the program.
