According to Techub News, Decrypt reported that Skyfire, a cryptocurrency payment company founded by former Ripple executives Amir Sarhangi and Craig DeWitt, has completed a $8.5 million seed round of financing, with investors including Circle, Ripple, Gemini, and Draper Associates. The company's eponymous open source payment system Skyfire allows users to use USDC to purchase services and products through autonomous artificial intelligence agents. Currently, Skyfire runs on Polygon and plans to expand to other blockchains soon. In addition, Skyfire is currently free to use, but may soon charge a 2% to 3% fee on transactions.
