According to ChainCatcher, BadgerDAO announced yesterday the launch of the Badger funding program supported by Gitcoin with a prize pool of US$250,000, aimed at supporting the community-driven growth of Bitcoin in the DeFi field.
The program’s main goals include supporting projects that enhance the eBTC protocol ecosystem, discovering new ideas and talent that can add value to DAOs, and encouraging innovations that bring Bitcoin into DeFi.
Applicants should focus on at least one of the following areas: improving BADGER utility, improving Bitcoin integration in DeFi, Bitcoin L2, rollups or mining innovations, and developing or developing parallel products based on the eBTC protocol.
Application conditions include: the proposal must have a clear and achievable roadmap, be open to community feedback, apply for an amount between $1,000 and $100,000, and agree to a milestone-based payment method. Applicants must publish proposals on the Badger DAO governance forum, which will be reviewed by the Treasury Council and submitted to the Gitcoin Grants Stack team.
