🚨 47 Countries Ready to Join BRICS Alliance 🚨

The BRICS alliance is gaining momentum as more developing countries express their desire to join. With a growing interest in de-dollarization, nations are looking to boost their local economies by promoting native currencies for trade. This shift could lead to significant economic benefits, increasing national GDPs across these regions.

Currently, 47 countries have shown interest in joining BRICS before the 2024 summit. Among them, 26 nations have formally applied, while 21 others have informally expressed interest. These countries come from diverse regions, including Asia, Africa, South America, and Eastern Europe, reflecting a global trend toward creating a more balanced economic landscape.

Paul Frimpong, Founder of the Africa-China Centre for Policy Advisory, emphasized that the BRICS alliance is attracting such a diverse group of nations due to their shared goal of establishing a fairer global system.

The upcoming 16th BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, scheduled from October 22-24, 2024, will be the first meeting of the expanded alliance. Key discussions will focus on de-dollarization, trade deals, and enhancing the use of local currencies, among other financial topics.
